Win Jersey and Rare Stamps
The aid organisation ‘Bevar Ukraine’ is at the Dana Cup to raise funds for the purchase of an ambulance, which is badly needed at the moment. The stall in the centre area sells traditional Ukrainian products, and all profits go towards the purchase of a used ambulance.
‘Unfortunately, we are still a long way from reaching the goal, but now we give customers extra added value if they shop at our stall,’ says Oleksandr Gerasymovych, who is head of Bevar Ukraine’s branch in Aalborg.
‘We are very grateful that the captain of the Danish Superliga club, FC Midtjylland, Erik Sviatchenko has chosen to donate a match jersey with the Ukrainian flag. Erik has Ukrainian roots and, naturally, follows the situation in the country closely, which is why he wants to help us. Customers, who shop with us, participate in the raffle for Erik’s jersey, just as I put a number of rare Ukrainian stamps up for grabs. The stamps have only been produced in a very limited number and are expected to become quite valuable for collectors,’ says Oleksandr Gerasymovych, who hopes that the jersey and the rare stamps will enable them to buy an ambulance.
