Puzzle with 869 Pieces
In 2022, 582 teams wanted to be accommodated at a school during the Dana Cup. This year that number has grown to 869, so it has been a hard puzzle that the person responsible for accommodation, Bob Knudsen Andersen, has had to put together. But he pulled it off.
‘2023 has not been without challenges. On the one hand, more people would like to be accommodated at one of the schools and, on the other hand, several of the premises that we used before the COVID-19 pandemic are no longer available. Therefore, early on we asked the local business community if they might have premises that were empty in the middle of the summer holidays, and it turned out to be a good idea. We have been given access to some new premises that we have not previously used’, Bob Knudsen Andersen says.
‘We have been very well received by the business companies, so I am absolutely sure that we will nurture those relationships again in the future’, he emphasizes.
