Team Interview - Unaganuud Club, Kids Training Academy & Nomadic Kickers FC - Mongolia

What is the name of your team and your teams history and does your team have a Nick Name?

Unaganuud Club
Our club name is Unaganuud, founded in 2001 as a University team. In 2010 our club created kids teams. We play both football and futsal.

Kids Training Academy
Our team is Kids Training Academy, founded on the 14th of June 2024. Since our first training session, we have focused on developing young players through discipline, teamwork and love for the game. Our nick name is KTA.

Nomadic Kickers FC
Nomadic Kickers FC was established in 2021 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and has grown into a competitive youth team with a strong focus on development and sportsmanship. Our team nickname is The White Falcons.

What does it mean for you to play in the Dana Cup and what are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2026?

Unaganuud Club
We are participating the the Dana Cup for the first time. For us, playing in the Dana Cup means: testing ourselves against international teams, seeing how we play against boys and girls from many different football cultures and styles. Making memories, new friends, playing football, living together as a team along with meeting players from all around the world.

Kids Training Academy
We have some international tournament experience but the Dana Cup 2026 will be the biggest and our very first tournament at this level. It is a proud milestone for our academy. Our main goal is to score our first-ever goal and record our first score at the Dana Cup, while
competing with confidence, fair play and pride.

Nomadic Kickers FC
Dana Cup is our first official international tournament and we are very honored to be given the opportunity to participate. Our goal for the Dana Cup is to have our junior football players experience a world-class event that unites people from all around the world and we
are sure it will be an eye opening experience not only football-wise but also to show our children the importance of equality and friendship.

Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 Global Goals that they support and will play for at the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? Unaganuud Club
We will play and support the Goal 3 Good Health and Well Being, along with Goal 4 Quality Education.

Kids Training Academy
Kids Training Academy supports all of the UN´s sustainable goals and believes that football can play a positive role in achieving them. However, we strongly support UN Global Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. We believe football is a powerful tool to improve both physical and mental health, especially for children and young people. Through regular training, teamwork, discipline and fair play, we encourage an active lifestyle, confidence and positive social behavior. By participating in the Dana Cup, we aim to highlight how sport can contribute to healthier lifestyle, stronger communities and the overall well-being of the next generation.

Nomadic Kickers FC
Our team supports Goal 5: Gender Equality. We believe football should be accessible to everyone, regardless of gender. Sport is a powerful platform to promote equality, respect, and equal opportunities and by participating in the Dana Cup we are proud to play in support of gender equality.
